I nearly passed out when I saw this Superman/Clark Kent costume on Geek Tyrant–;cuteness overload! And talk about easy–;there's not even a tutorial for this one because none is needed! Next UP {pun intended} is this to die for DIY Up costume shared by Auburn Soul Photography. Again, this one seems to mostly depend on items in your little guy's wardrobe, with the addition of a DIY “;walker”; made with PVC pipe. Take this photo to your local home improvement store and anyone should be able to tell you the pieces you need and how to go about putting it together. Beyond adorable!

You know my husband is a firefighter, right? Needless to say, I have a soft spot for firefighter costumes and I adore this one by Crayon Box Chronicles. This DIY wind-up doll costume falls into the category of GENIUS in my book! It's beyond cute and is so creative. The full tutorial is available on the DIY Network.

Hanna from Pearls and Scissors is here today with the prettiest t-shirt tutorial you ever did see. We’re just a little over the moon for this project (if you couldn’t tell), and love even more that she shows you how to draft your own pattern for it. Make a few in bright colors to step into spring early. Once you’ve sewn it up, head on over to Hanna’s Etsy Shop to accessorize with her handmade accessories.

If your living room is the central hub of your hectic home, you know the simultaneous love and abuse that your couches and chairs see. Kids crash into them, pets jump all over the cushions, and drinks spill on the fabric almost daily. While quality and durability are the most important qualities for 91% of sofa buyers, there is no guarantee that your couches and chairs will able to survive the regular wear and tear of family life. Extend the life of your upholstered furniture with these easy tips, and you won’t be buying a new sectional before you’re done paying off the old one.
